Canal Communities Drug & Alcohol Awareness Week 2026

Over the course of a week this May, Drug & Alcohol Awareness Week 2026 brought together local organisations, families, young people, and residents for a series of events centred around awareness, education, and community connection.

The week created welcoming spaces for people to engage with important discussions around drug and alcohol awareness in a positive and supportive environment.

The success of the week was a reflection of the collaboration and dedication shown by all those involved, helping to create meaningful opportunities for learning, reflection, and community engagement across the Canal Communities. 🌟

A sincere well done to Canal Communities Local Drug & Alcohol Task Force, Rialto Community Drug Team, Dolphin House Community Centre, Rilato Youth Project, volunteers, community workers, and everyone who participated and supported the events throughout the week.
